Yiorgos Christinides was born and lives in Thessaloniki. He studied Physical Education & Sport Science in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, he had a master of Fine Arts in Theatre Department (Parastasiologia – Dramatology) and is a PhD student of Democritus University of Thrace in the subject: Motor Learning.
He has directed many stage designs and theater performances with children and adults and has written plays for children and prose. He works as a teacher of Physical Education in Primary School.
He is a member of the photography group “Fotoporoi”, has presented three individual exhibitions (“Light Actors Imprinting”, “Unknown Next to Me”, “Landscapes of the Mind”) and participated in fourteen group exhibitions (2nd, 3rd and 4th “Contrast/Antithesis” Thessaloniki Photography Festival, “Open Places”, “Ιnside”, “City”, “Traveling”, “References”, for the Social Solidarity Clinic, the Antiracist Festival, “Hellas Blue” etc.).
Ο Γιώργος Χρηστινίδης γεννήθηκε και ζει στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Σπούδασε στο Τ.Ε.Φ.Α.Α. του Α.Π.Θ., έκανε μεταπτυχιακά στη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών, στο τμήμα Θεάτρου (Παραστασιολογία – Δραματολογία) του Α.Π.Θ. και είναι υποψήφιος διδάκτορας του Δημοκρίτειου Πανεπιστήμιου Θράκης στο γνωστικό αντικείμενο: Κινητική Μάθηση.
Έχει σκηνοθετήσει και σκηνογραφήσει πολλές θεατρικές παραστάσεις με παιδιά και ενήλικες και έχει γράψει θεατρικά έργα για παιδιά και πεζογραφήματα. Εργάζεται ως καθηγητής Φυσικής Αγωγής σε Δημοτικό Σχολείο.
Είναι μέλος της φωτογραφικής ομάδας “Φωτοπόροι”, έχει παρουσιάσει τρεις ατομικές εκθέσεις φωτογραφίας (“Φως Ηθοποιών Αποτυπώνοντας”, “Άγνωστοι Δίπλα μου”, “Τοπία του Νου”) και συμμετείχε σε δεκατέσσερεις ομαδικές (2ο, 3ο και 4ο “Contrast/Αντίθεση” Φεστιβάλ Φωτογραφίας Θεσσαλονίκης, “Ανοιχτοί Τόποι”, “Εντός”, “Πόλη”, “Ταξιδεύοντας”, “Αναφορές”, για το Κοινωνικό Ιατρείο Αλληλεγγύης, το Αντιρατσιστικό Φεστιβάλ, “Ελλάδα Μπλε” κ.ά.).
